Hey, I’m Steven! I created Stains By Stev in 2021 during the pandemic – I had always wanted to become an artist but had almost no natural ability. After a lot of practice, I’ve been able to develop a uniquely vivid style inspired by outer space and the cosmos.

After I finish a painting, I like to pull a tarot card and see what kind of cosmic message the art might be sending – it’s a fun ritual that keeps things a little magical.

I have Synesthesia, so often I paint how emotions, words or experiences feel to me if they were a spacescape. 

By day, I work in marketing for a pub group. I also do a lot of short distance running and baking bread (typical “I’m in my 30s” activities.)
